Prior to departure or after the tour, families have an option of taking part in an activity package on a privately owned game sanctuary, situated in close proximity to the International Airport. This package consists of: A 4-day 3-night adventure on Okambara Elephant Lodge, where guests get to walk the African bush with a ranger in search of different animals, plants, birds and insects. They will witness the feeding of different large cats such as cheetah and leopard, and also spend one day on a guided game drive in search of the African elephant, the black rhino and a variety of other game species such as eland, kudu and oryx. On your trip through Namibia, children will receive a colour-in book, which they can complete during their journey. The best picture, in the eyes of the artist, should then be sent back to Sense of Africa, who will evaluate the artists’ work with the pictures of other children and reward the “Picasso” with a free cuddly toy!
