Since it’s inception in 2001, IWAN has supported such organizations as Baby Haven, Megameno house for Orphans, Katutura Old Age Home, The Childrens Cancer Ward at the State hospital and The Association for Children with Language, Speech and Hearing Impairments of Namibia.  In 2011, they are underway in the design and implementation of a day care centre and resource centre for all children in Katutura.
